Old Wesleyan - 2021 Pinot Noir - Russian River Valley

$58.00
Beloved by all Phi Mu members, Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia, is the home of the Alpha Chapter. The school, then Georgia Female College, was the first institution in the world to grant college-level degrees to women. Ninety young women, as young as 12, enrolled on opening day: January 7, 1839. Wesleyan was home to the Philomathean Society beginning in 1852. A Phi Mu presence remains on campus with a quatrefoil-shaped bronze plaque, originally in the Philomathean Room and now leading to the Memorial Garden; three chandeliers in the dining hall; and two gateway entrances.

We introduce you to Old Wesleyan. From the Russian River Valley AVA of Sonoma County, this beautiful wine is influenced mostly by the fog of the AVA and is very aromatic, with a velvet mouthfeel, and has a fruit character that is ripe and intense.
